New Creature Farm is a small family owned and operated farm in northeast Alabama. We have raised beef, pork, chicken, and turkey for our personal use for over 10 years after realizing how commercially raised meats from the store are riddled with harmful chemicals, lacking in quality and nutrition, and are TASTELESS!

We have discussed making our delicious foods available for others to enjoy for quite some time, and now in 2022 we are starting out by offering tender, juicy, organic, pasture-raised turkeys!

Why turkeys? Glad you asked! Turkeys are arguably the BEST method of healing and building SOIL, which is the foundation of all good farming practices. Besides, turkey tastes better than chicken in our humble opinion! We hope to add other farm products soon so keep checking in or drop us a note and tell us what you'd like to see next!

We are committed to quality and NEVER compromise on our values! Sometimes that costs more in the short term (organic feed is more expensive), but the health of our soil biology, animals, and ultimately us humans, is well worth it! Some of our values include:

  • No chemicals! Pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, chemical fertilizers, growth hormones, etc. are OFF LIMITS on our property, period!

  • Building soil: Modern agriculture has depleted most of the nations topsoil, we are rebuilding it using diversity of plants and animals, and minimum tillage.

  • Organic and beyond: All grain feeds purchased and fed to our animals are certified organic, to further insure we do not import chemicals onto our farm. Organic always means non-GMO, and in addition our feeds are also Soy-Free.

  • Animal welfare: We believe all animals should have fresh air and sunlight, and we try to make sure each animal is in a habitat similar to what their wild counterparts prefer in nature (woods for pigs, grass for cows, etc.) We rotate all our animals to ensure that vegetation can rebound and thrive.

Other interests: Our family also enjoys gardening, making butter, cheese, and other dairy products, growing wheat and making bread from ancient whole grains with sourdough yeast, orcharding, sawmilling, wilderness survival including hunting, fishing, and edible plant identification, meat processing, animal hide tanning, processing firewood, sewing / knitting, baking, food preservation / canning, and most anything else having to do with the outdoors and homesteading! We will soon be offering classes on these and other subjects, so please let us know what you're interested in!
